Check my building
Takes about a minute. No cost, no obligation.
Sub-cycle 10A: FISP reports due February 21, 2027
If your building is taller than six stories and its tax block number ends in 4, 5, 6 or 9, it falls in FISP sub-cycle 10A. The 10A filing window opened February 21, 2025 and closes February 21, 2027. Under DOB rules, filing late costs $1,000 per month.
- Check your tax block number. The last digit of the block tells you your sub-cycle: 4, 5, 6 or 9 means 10A.
- Book your QEWI. Only a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (a professional engineer or registered architect) can inspect your facade and file the FISP report. Tower is a contractor, not a QEWI.
- Line up repairs before the inspection. Known facade problems are easier to plan and schedule before the engineer's inspection than in a rush afterwards. We do the repair work; your QEWI inspects and files.

From TowerWho does what
Tower Builder Group is a contractor. We do the repair work: facade restoration and Local Law 11 repairs, sidewalk violation removal, commercial concrete, waterproofing, masonry, steps, stoops, patios and driveways.
Facade inspections and FISP reports must be done by a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI), a New York-licensed professional engineer or registered architect approved by DOB. Tower is not a QEWI. On FISP jobs we do the repairs while your QEWI inspects and files.
After you submit, you can download our free NYC Building Owner's Facade & Sidewalk Checklist (PDF), plus a Nassau homeowner version.
Questions
Is the check really free?
Yes. The records check, the 1-page fix plan and the estimate are free, with no obligation.
Do I need to own the building?
Owners, managing agents and board members can all request a check. We may ask how you're connected to the property before we discuss repairs.
Can you file my FISP report?
No. Only a QEWI can inspect and file. We work alongside your QEWI and handle the repairs their report calls for.
Do you work in Nassau County?
Yes. Nassau sidewalk rules vary by town and village, so we'll point you to your local office and look at your sidewalk, stoop or driveway.
